Zula (Richardson) Fraley, 93, of Flora, IN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Milner Healthcare in Rossville, IN.

On May 14, 1928 in Richmond, KY, she was born to the late John T. and Alma (Cain) Richardson. On September 17, 1952, she married Robert E. Fraley in Monroe, MI and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2012.

Zula was active in the Flora community, volunteering at the Thrift Store and was a member of the Flora United Methodist Church and Psi Iota Sorority. She enjoyed helping anywhere needed. Zula worked at Ayres Hardware and Hanaway Printing for years. She also catered with Jean Albaugh and Martha Hanaway, was beauty operator and a teacher's aid. She was a 1946 graduate of Urbana High School in Urbana, OH. Zula and Robert wintered in Alamo, TX for many years.

Zula is survived by two children; two grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. She is preceded by her husband; parents; and sister, Lorraine Twitty.

The Fraley family invites friends to visit on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 S. Center Street, Flora, IN 46929 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A celebration of Zula's life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Larry DeVos will be officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
