The funeral of Mr. Evander Stone, a student of the North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering who died at Rex Hospital Saturday of Spanish influenza, will be held at the Baptist church at Morrisville at 5 o'clock this afternoon. The internment will be in the churchyard there beside the remains of his mother, who was buried when he was less than two years old, and where several generations of his ancestors are buried.
A squad of cadets from the State College will attend the funeral. A number of friends of the family will leave on the afternoon Southern train to attend the funeral.
Young Stone was the son of Mr. A. E. Stone, who for many years was a resident of Raleigh, but who now has his headquarters at Charlotte.
