Mr. Jack Allen Hood, age 81 of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
He was born in theta, Tennessee, to the late Thea Lipscomb Hood and Sallie Pearl Hughes. Mr. Hood worked at the Ford Glass Plant for 46 years. He is remembered as a grill master, spiritual leader, and all around family man.
Mr. Hood is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Hood; daughters, Judy (Ed) Coffman and Angelia (Bill) Wilson; four grandchildren, Daniel, Heather, Margaret, and Allen; 5 great grandchildren; and sister, JoAnn Perry.
Celebration of Life will be held at Highland Heights Church of Christ on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held after the service in the fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lawrence Gardner Fund at Highland Heights Church of Christ at 615-459-4071.
