It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Walter Staheli on October 3, 2010 one week prior to his eighty-seventh birthday. He passed away peacefully in the hospital with his family at his bedside.

Heather, Jason (Karen), Tyler (Thirza), Jeffrey and Nathan. Walter was predeceased by Goldie in 2005. With great appreciation we wish to acknowledge Goldie's daughter and her family who played a large part in Walter's life. They are Kim (Steve) and their children, Jennifer (Chris), Michelle (Jon) and Brian. Walter was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren.

Walter started Staheli Construction in 1954 and was very successful in the oilfield and highway construction. He also had a passion for flying in both fixed wing and helicopters.
