JoAnn LaVonne Nascene passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Ecumen in North Branch at the age of 88.
LaVonne Carlson was born June 18, 1933 to Gunnard and Esther (Anderson) Carlson in the city of Coin, Brunswick Township, Kanabec County, Minnesota.
LaVonne is survived by her children Kevin (LeeAnn) Nascene of Lindstrom, Sheryl Nascene of Cambridge, Kyle (Barb) Nascene of Pine City, Kim (Carmela) Nascene of Shakopee; grandchildren: Dr. David (Dr. Shannon) Nascene, Dr. Rachel (Luke) Ellis, Private First Class Weston Nascene, Sierra Nascene, Landon Nascene, Tiffany Heisler, Carissa Nascene, Kylie Nascene; great grandchildren: Laurel, Sophie, Benjamin, Grant, Tate, Beau; many other relatives and friends.
LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents Gunnard & Esther Carlson; husband Sheldon Nascene; brother Kenneth Carlson; sister-in-law Muriel Nascene.
Pastor John Stiles will officiate funeral services for LaVonne: 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 16th at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pine City. A time of visitation and reviewal for friends and family is planned for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Hilltop Cemetery in Pine City.
