Allen D. "Tadpole" Ormes, age 51 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, May 2, 2014 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was retired from the Army National Guard and was a Gulf War Era and Desert Storm Era Veteran. Mr. Ormes was born December 27, 1962 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Jack and Dixie (Laypool) Ormes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tangela R. (Planck) Ormes, his grandmother, Edna Laypool, and his sister June Ogden Barnes.
Mr. Ormes is survived by two daughters, two grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
Visitation and memorial service was held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.
