George N. jones has a CSA pension application on line in the GA archives under Dooly County. He says he served from 1863 until 1865 with Gerard's Artillery. There is a page from his funeral, which says he died without heirs or funds to pay for his funeral. The embalmer, Undertaker, P. G. Tucker , in Pinehurst collected the 100$ to pay for his funeral, but the marker has likely been gone for years. Burial here is a guess! Any help appreciated.
