James graduated from Haines City High School in 1959. He work for Farmland Industries as a Transportation Superintendent. James loved spending time with his wife Julia and their boys. They took many family vacations together over the years. Whenever the family had spare time, they would be camping, hunting, or fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years Julia Cribbs; son, Philip Eugene Cribbs of Lakeland; grandsons, Philip Andrew, Justin and Thomas; granddaughters, Alaina and Jessica; great- grandson Pehrson Cribbs.
There will be a private service at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Stephen Short will be ordaining the service.
Please no flowers but two things that were dear to James are Funny River Church of Christ, 36680 Dutch Loop Landing, Sterling, Alaska 99672 c/o Keith Holland and Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
