Dale served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as a Lt. Colonel. He then worked as a professor at Vincennes University in the Accounting Department and retired from there. He enjoyed traveling, collecting pottery, and watching sports. Dale was a big Cleveland Indian fan and enjoyed all South Knox Spartan sports. He also was a member of the Monroe City Masonic Lodge and the UHL Pottery Club.
Survivors include his wife, Leah Blann whom he married on March 23, 1950; his sons, Brian and Kevin Blann; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Bianca Blann; and two great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Atreya Blann. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Earl Blann.
Friends may visit with Dale's family from noon until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591. Pastor Trevor Murry will officiate and Dale will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.
