Obituary for Eula Faye (Clements) McWhorter
Eula Faye (Clements) McWhorter was born January 28, 1936 in Iron County, Missouri to Homer and Laura (Prater) Clements. She grew up near Buick, Missouri and on November 2, 1952, at the age of sixteen, was united in marriage to the love of her life Charles "Red" Edgar McWhorter.

Faye and Red were blessed with two children, Mike and Tricia, she took great pride in raising her family and caring for her home. Faye was not only a homemaker, she worked at R-4 School as a lunch lady for many years. She truly enjoyed the staff and students, and always had a smile to share. Faye later worked as a caregiver and put her heart into caring for others. For several years she loved and cared for the Cox Girls, they meant the world to her.

Faye loved being outdoors doing chores, feeding chickens, and just spending time with her horses. She liked gardening and canning her vegetables from her garden. Faye was full of energy and very passionate about riding and training horses. She enjoyed riding the trails and helping others with their horse. She was a member of the Wild Horse League in Shannon County.

Faye was a woman of faith and long-time member of Dry Fork Baptist Church. She made a lasting impression on the lives of many, she was a great mentor and leader. Faye was one of a kind, strong, compassionate, and loving. Her family was most important to her, she cherished her grandchildren and treasured her great-grandchildren.

Faye departed this life March 5, 2022 in Houston, Missouri at the age of eighty-six years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband: Charles "Red" McWhorter; son: Charles "Mike" McWhorter and wife Michelle; daughter: Patricia "Tricia" Buchanan and husband Ken; grandchildren: Sean McWhorter, Kimberly Weber and husband Mark, Kyle Buchanan and wife Brenna, and Kristopher Buchanan; great-grandchildren: Chloe and Kiera Weber; step-grandchildren: Julie Kelley and husband Kent, Justin Murray and wife Christy, and James Murray and wife Kristin; step-great-grandchildren: Grant and wife Malia, Ashley, Jackson, Lincoln, Kalem, Logan, Lydia, Claire, and Seamus; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Preceding her in death, parents: Homer and Laura Clements and sisters: Norma Chase, Edith Seitz, and Roberta Robertson.

Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her friendly smile and love for others. She will be forever missed.
Funeral Services for Eula Faye (Clements) McWhorter were held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Joe Hubbs and Pastor Virgil McWhorter officiating. The eulogy was shared by Tricia Buchanan. Song selections played were "Scars In Heaven", "I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You", and "Amazing Grace". Serving as Pallbearers were Kyle Buchanan, Kristopher Buchanan, Ken Buchanan, and Sean McWhorter. Burial was in the Morrison Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
