Our beautiful mother, Judith Healy Jensen, passed away Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, after a short but courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 5, 1943, to Lawrence Marvin Healy and Gladys Fayter Healy in Salt Lake City, Utah and was raised in Salt Lake, where she attended Olympus and South High Schools. She married her High School sweetheart, Gary Daniel Jensen, on July 13th, 1960. He was her best friend and loving partner for 44 wonderful years together before he passed away in 2005. Together they had three children Steve, Michelle and Amy who were the light of her life.

Spending time with her family was Judy's priority. Judy loved and was very proud of all her grandchildren. She enjoyed camping and traveling with them and taking part and being involved in all their individual talents and activities. She was an avid outdoorswoman and she loved camping in the redrock deserts of Southern Utah. Her favorite memories were of halcyon days spent on the water, or hiking, or sitting around a campfire at Lake Powell, Zion, or Canyonlands. Judy worked at Kirkham's Outdoor Products in Salt Lake as a Specialty Buyer for 38 years, retiring in 2019.

Judy is survived by her children: Steven (Lori) Jensen; Michelle (Kyle) Schick; Amy (Chad) Tourigny, and her eight grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Eric) Lance; Arianna Jensen; Oliver (Camila) Schick; Quinn Schick; Jackson Tourigny; Rachel Jensen; Dylan Tourigny; Ashton Tourigny. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Carolyn "Toni" (Lowell) Carr, and a brother Roger (Carole) Healy.

The family would like to thank the Intermountain Hospice team and private caregivers who cared for her with such kindness and skill.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, with a graveside ceremony at Elysian Burial Gardens Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 8.
