Charles Wesley Nottingham, 82, of 271 Est Sixteenth street North, died at his home yesterday after a brief illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Georgia Nottingham; three daughter, Mrs JR Forden, Hood River; Mrs RN Strong, Seattle; Mrs R Fullerton, Sausalito, Cal. And one son HH Nottingham of Portland. Mr Nottingham was born June 29, 1848 at Pleasant Plain, Ill. While still a young man he came to Oregon and for the last 40 years has been associated with the building material firm which bears his name. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and the Lang Syne society and served a number of terms in both the state senate and the House of Representatives.
