Kenneth R. Moore, age 91 of Sand Springs passed away early Thursday morning, November 22, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr. Moore was born on August 3, 1916 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma the son of Archie and Martha (Albig) Moore. He grew up on a farm near Lone Wolf, Oklahoma where he attended school. On August 3, 1937, he was united in marriage to Virgie Viola Hagle in Lone Wolf. She preceded him in death on November 8, 1999. In 1952 he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and started working as a Mechanic for Bond Bread. In the early 1970's he moved to Mannford and worked for Southwest Tube until he retired. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, working on mechanical items and spending time with his family.

He is survived by two daughters, Judy Endecott of Sand Springs, Teddie Breitenstein and husband Bob of Tulsa; two grandchildren, Bret Smith and wife Alisa and Jennifer Smith and one great granddaughter Avery Smith.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, parents and several brothers and sisters.

Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2007 at the Highland Cemetery in Oilton, Oklahoma with the Reverend Larry Calvert officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery at Oilton. His arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer-Marler Funeral Home of Oilton, Oklahoma.
