Minnie and her twin sister were born in Kansas, but her father Martin brought the family to Colorado before 1885. There were eventually 7 younger siblings. Martin was a farmer in both states.
In 1895 Minnie married George Ira Spencer (who sometimes used his middle name, Ira, as his everyday name). They had five children--Pearl, James M., Leslie Allen, Ruth Lucile, & Dale. They were divorced in 1919. George had 2 or 3 subsequent marriages, and his last wife was also named Minnie, so this can be confusing.
In 1922 Minnie married Charles Burton Wright in Morgan County, Colorado. He was previously married to Josie Stultz in Montana in 1903, but I don't know what happened to her. I don't believe that Charles and Minnie had any birth children, although they had a child from Minnie's previous marriage and his wife, and various grandchildren living with them. Minnie was still married to Charles at the time of her death. He died just two years later.
