Mrs. Toepel worked as a bookkeeper at Pine Lake Marina.
She was born July 28, 1898, In Kiel Wis.
She lived in La Porte 25 years, coming from Chicago.
Her husband, Elmer, died earlier. Surviving are two sons, Robert E. of Kingsford Heights and George H. of LaPorte; and several grandchildren.
