Stephen K. Miner, 70, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born Nov. 7, 1951, in Altoona, he was a son of the late Thomas W. and Kay L. (Miller) Miner.

He is survived by; his wife, Deborah (Everhart) Miner, of Lewistown, whom he married May 23, 1970; sons, Brad Miner, of Lewistown, Wayne Miner and wife, Loni, of Reedsville; grandchildren, Tessa, Rainie, Jay, and Anna Miner; siblings, Carl Miner and wife, Martha, of Martinsburg, Penny Albright, of Hollidaysburg, T. Craig Miner, of Huntingdon, and Sharon Howe, of Martinsburg.

Stephen was a member of Lewistown Assembly of God Church. He was a Deacon and a member of the church board.

He was a graduate of Juniata Valley High School, Class of 1969.

Stephen served in the Army National Guard for 24 ½ years with 13 years active duty and 20 years with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

He was an avid reader. Stephen stayed busy doing crossword puzzles, farming, and gardening. He was very giving to his family and faithfully served God and his church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was loved by many.

A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Assembly of God Church, 160 Summit Drive, Lewistown.

A second viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Assembly of God Church, with a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Dennis Sproull officiating.

Interment will take place in Lind Memorial with special services provided by the VFW Post 7011, and Pastor Mike Bailey officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, Lewistown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stephen's memory may be made to; Assembly of God Church, Benevolence Fund, 160 Summit Drive, Lewistown, PA 17044.
