Having been married for sixty-five years, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gibson Davis.
James attended Grace Community Church and was a proud United States Marine veteran. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was known as a generous man who was a friend to everyone and he often said "I'm the most blessed man".
He is survived by three children, Gail Davis of Old Fort, Phillip Davis of Humboldt, TN and Debra Graham (Jim) of Cartersville, GA; eight grandchildren, Eric Hoyle, Andrew Hoyle (Krissy), Sarah Waycaster (Andy), Josh Davis, Katie Stover (Jacob), James Graham, Wesley Graham (Courtnee), Jonathan Graham (Lindsey) and twelve great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Cemetery.
