Mrs. Dot was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Onan "Oney" Emanuel and Clara "Taya" Eubanks Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kingman "KP" Herin and Clyde H. Sutton, her son, Kip Herin, brothers, William "Bill" Marshall and Lon (Ramona) Marshall, step-daughter, Linda Sutton (Alan) Fletcher.
Mrs. Dot was a dental hygienist for Dr. James Cassidy for twenty six years. She has been a member of Centenary United Methodist Church since 1938, she sang in the choir, and taught Sunday School. Mrs. Dot volunteered with the Methodist Children's Home, President of the Macon Methodist Women's Group, and President of the Exchangettes for two terms. She touched many lives and was always giving back to the community and known for her delicious pound cakes. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her daughter, Mimi (Buddy) Harper, daughter-in-law, Susan Hall Herin, sister-in-law, Barbara Marshall, eight grandchildren, Butch (Beth) Harper, Greg (Charmaine) Harper, Andy (Patricia) Harper, Kevin (Christina) Harper, Tres (Rhonda) Herin, Susan Fletcher (Mike) Edwards, Jennifer Fletcher (Ron) Maulick, Amy Fletcher (Steve) Portnell, fifteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
