Albert Emory Baker, Jr., age 87, of Finksburg passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Bridginglife's Dove House.
Born August 20, 1934, in Olney, Maryland he was the son of the late Albert E., Sr. and Bertha Trent Baker. He was the devoted husband of the late Janice Drinnon Baker.
Albert retired from Giant Food Stores as a department manager. After his retirement, he worked at Black and Decker, Ridgeway Storage, Eldersburg and at Eldersburg Car Wash. Albert served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by sons Jeffrey A. Baker and Ronald R. Baker both of Finksburg; daughter and son-in-law Joyce M. and Sam Ports of Westminster; sister Dorothy George and grandchildren: Nicole and Sam.
He was predeceased by daughter-in-law Lisa Baker and brothers Raymond R. Baker and Robert L. Baker.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2pm on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Dr. Ray Shutt officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Springfield Cemetery; 7300 Spout Hill Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
