Sharon was survived by her father; Howard Scott and one brother, Steve Scott both of Moberly, her husband, Sam Sagaser of the home and her children, Jason (Christa) Riley of Bluffton, Indiana and Josh Woods of New Cambria. Sharon was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was also survived by her nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other friends and family members that loved her very much.
Sharon was a strong willed woman with a large personality. She worked for the Red Cross as a young woman and later became a Nurse. She devoted so much of her life to raising her kids and later her grandkids. She was so happy when she was blessed with her Great Grandson. Her Grandkids filled her life with so much joy and love. That was her greatest accomplishment. She never missed streaming a game or an event her grandkids were involved in. Every child and grandchild has an amazing and funny story of times spent with her. Strong-willed and very resilient, she did her best to fill everyone's life with love.
Sharon tried to live a very full life, she loved NASCAR and many other sports, which in many ways led her to her husband she married on August 31st, 1996. Sharon was so honored she spent her wedding with her first Grandchild. Some of her greatest memories were with her parents or her friends, most were going to Cooperstown, New York when her grandson was inducted into the Cooperstown hall of fame and many other times with her grandchildren, her sons, and her husband.
Sharon was very active in the Find-A-Grave community, frequently visiting cemeteries to record and photograph burials, and creating memorials for recently deceased persons.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was February 25, 2022 at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO with Rev. Kelly Perry officiating.
Burial followed in the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, MO.
The family suggests memorials to the United Way or any flower besides roses, as Sharon was not a fan of roses.
