Floride Austin Jenkins, 93, widow of Clyde David Jenkins, Sr., died Wednesday, July 27, 1994 in Anderson, South Carolina. She was born in the Fork Shoals Community of Greenville County, the daughter of the late John Manley and Lilian Allison Austin, was a home-maker for many years, and a former employee of Peoples National Bank. She was a member of Fork Shoals Baptist Church, taught Sunday School for many years, and was a member of the Ladies Bible Class. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Helen Jenkins Mullinax and Wally Mullinax of Greenville and Jean J. Boyd and Gordon Boyd of Simpsonville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Kathryn Armstrong Jenkins and Clyde D. (Pete) and Elizabeth Rainey Jenkins, all of Fork Shoals; two sisters, Mary A. Nash of Hickory Tavern and Nelle A. Woodson of Greenville; also twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
