Margaret Caldwell McMillan Black, age 90, passed away February 15, 2015. She is survived by her children, Phillip (Diane) McMillan of Harpersville, Alabama, Cathy Hillegas of Roswell, Georgia, and Alan (Beth) McMillan of Pelham, Alabama, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Margaret was born on March 15, 1924 in Adamsville, Alabama to Henry and Jeanette Caldwell, and is preceded in death by her siblings Paul Caldwell, James Caldwell, Elizabeth Short, Dutch White, Sara Nowlin, her husband James McMillan, second husband Mancy Black, and son-in-law Bob Hillegas. She lived most of her life in Adamsville, Alabama and Forestdale, Alabama and the last several years at Galleria Woods Retirement complex in Hoover, Alabama. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. Her service will be held at Bells Funeral Home, 2077 Pratt Hwy, Birmingham, Alabama 35214 at 1 pm on Thursday, February 19, 2015, with visitation before the service at 11:30. Burial will be immediately following the service at Midway Cemetery.
