Arthur "Dub" William Adkins, age 79 of Dandridge, TN., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 25, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Dub was a Florida native but found his home in the mountains of East Tennessee. He was the son of the late William Askew Adkins and Helen Exum Adkins. Dub was a member of Swannsylvania Baptist Church. He proudly served in the US Army and enjoyed many hobbies. His love was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Dub was preceded in death by two sisters, and one brother.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Diane Adkins; his three children, Bud, Alan, and Ginger; grandson, Reagan; several nieces and nephews that he loved as his own.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his medical team.

Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm at Swannsylvania Cemetery on Monday, February 28, 2022, for a 2:00 pm graveside service. Brother Mike Hensley will be officiating.
