BIRCHMEIER, June Margaret – of Clio, age 80, died Monday, November 19, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 23, 2018 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until time of mass at 11AM at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church.

June was born June 22, 1938 in Genesee Ville, Michigan to the late Raoul and Margaret (Hurskey) Belanger. She grew up in Maple Grove Township and graduated from St. Michael Catholic Church with the class of 1958. On September 29, 1962 she married Ralph Edmond Birchmeier at St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove Township. June owned and operated June's Cut and Curl in Montrose for several years. She was a member of SS Charles and Helena Catholic Church and sang in the choir at Good Shepard Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, bingo and going to the casino. June also liked drawing, writing poetry, walking and cooking for her family. However, her greatest joy in life was being a Mother and Grandmother.

Surviving are: Children, Jerry (Lisa) Birchmeier, Judy (Paul) Cook, Greg (Jennifer) Birchmeier, Roy (Ann) Birchmeier, Ralph Birchmeier Jr., Amy (Jeff) Kenas; Grandchildren, Jake, Mitchell, Andrew, Alex, Bria, Brady, Paige, Sydney, Emma, Audrey, Jaxson, Kooper; Great Grandchildren, Sophia, Josie; Siblings, Jackie Denton, Marge (Johnny) Dick, Butch (Vickie) Belanger, Jeanette (Richard) Ries, Arthur (Wendy) Belanger; Sister in law, Carolyn Emmendorfer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Ralph; Siblings, Dick Belanger, Bob Belanger, Jean Gasparovic.
