Eleanor was a former hairdresser, and worked for many years as a secretary for the Jersey City Board of Education. Mrs. Paula formerly resided in Plantation, Florida, before moving back to New Jersey, and has resided in Brick since 2004. She was formerly active in the Donte Alighieri Society of Jersey City, and enjoyed playing Bingo and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis R. Paula, in 1980, and her dear sister Marie Boffa. Surviving are her loving sons, Richard Paula and wife Esther, Barry Paula and wife Linda, her cherished grandchildren, Wendy, Nick, Richard, Jennifer, and Christopher, and her great grandchildren, Tatiana, Nico, Dominic, Michael, Matthew, and Owen.
