Shirley Ann Devine Boyington, age 79, a native and resident of Loxley, AL passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021. She was a strong and wonderful person. Mrs. Boyington was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Boyington was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Boyington. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Boyington; daughters, Arleen Frazier, Alane Measel and Avis March; son, Alan Boyington; brother, Kenneth Devine; sisters, Carolyn Barnard and Wanda Devine; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand; The angel said my place was ready, In Heaven far above, And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me "Welcome Home."
