Jerry Bratcher, 74, of Boonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born on March 26, 1947 to the late Nora (Barger) and Robert Bratcher Sr.

Jerry was a hard-working and honest man who loved his family and the Lord. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, playing guitar and singing. Most of all he loved spending precious time with his family. He retired from Alcoa after 32 years of service, and was a member of Pentecostal Mission of Prayer for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Judy Bratcher; brother, Robert Bratcher II and sister, Lillian Cundiff.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Melissa Payne (Michael); son, Scot Bratcher (Michelle); grandchildren, Justin Dimmett, Jeremy Dimmett, Joshua Payne, Alyssa Payne, Whitney Meador (Scott), Scoty Bratcher (Rachael McCallister); great-grandchildren; Brooklyn Dimmett, Hunter Dimmett, Malia Payne, Wyatt Meador, Addi Meador and Maci Bratcher; brother, Gary Bratcher (Josie) and sister Margaret Morris. Along with several nieces and nephews and his church family.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Koehler Funeral Home 304 E. Main Street, Boonville, IN with Pastor Basil Embry and Pastor James Bratcher officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, IN. Published in Courier Press on Feb. 23, 2022.
