MOTHER SUCCUMBS AFTER CHILDBIRTH
MRS. LORETTA HELMS, PASSES AWAY AT HOME SOUTH OF PONETO
Mrs. Loretta (Nusbaumer) Helms, 25*, wife of Sherman Helms, living 5 miles south of Poneto, passed away at 3:45 o'clock this morning after an illness for a few days following childbirth. The child was stillborn.
The deceased was a life-long resident of this county and was a devout member of the Roman Catholic church of Montpelier. She leaves a wide circle of friends besides the husband and a number of brothers and sisters to mourn her death. Her parents preceded her in death.
Brothers and sisters surviving are Alexander Nusbaumer of Fremont, O,; Louis Nusbaumer of Petroleum; Mary Vachon of New Hampshire**; Christine Vachon of Fort Wayne; Sarah Dunlevy of Huntington and Christine, Agatha, and Eva at home. Alphonso Vachon of this city is a nephew. The funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at he Roman Catholic Church of Montpelier in charge of Rev. Nicholas Keller.
