Danny Gene Chaviers Passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the age of 61 in Nacogdoches Texas. Born May 30, 1960 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Delma Glynn Chisum Chaviers and Autrey Gene Chaviers. He was the second of five children. Danny spent his entire life in Texas.

Danny was a student of Woden and graduated in 1978. He married the love of his life on June 21, 1980. He and his wife owned a store in Woden in the late '8os. They then moved and he worked for Kenny Nerren Logging, Keith Carrell logging out of Huntington. In the '90s, he owned his own log trucking company. Danny was a hard worker and made many loyal friends over the years.

Danny was a member of Bonita United Methodist Church. His father-in-law baptized him in 1980, and he loved the lord. He deeply enjoyed history and loved to read. His favorite shows were Andy Griffith and Barney Miller; he never missed an episode if he could help it. Danny loved spending time with his family, and he especially loved spending time with his new puppy Barky.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Lisa Chaviers; niece, April Oswald; uncle, Anthony Chaviers; father-in-law John Vawter; and brother-in-law JW Vawter.

Danny is survived by his beautiful wife of 41 years, Renae Vawter Chaviers; son, Eric Chaviers of Pollok, Texas; daughters, Stephanie Chaviers Blackwell and husband Andrew Blackwell of Bend, Oregon, Renee Chaviers of Pollok, Texas; granddaughters Kailey, Morgan, and Maceyn; sisters, Cathy Chaviers and her partner Kristtie of Sugarland, Texas, Tracey Meador and husband Jerry Meador of Melrose, Texas; brothers; Johnny Chaviers and wife Kelley Chaviers of Nacogdoches, Texas, Michael Chaviers and Shawn Chaviers and their families of Stephenville, Texas.; aunts, Sandi Barts and husband Mark of Mt. Enterprise, Texas, and Barbara Chaviers of Nacogdoches, Texas; mother-in -law Sue Vawter of Nacogdoches, Texas; Sister in law, Melinda Vawter of Nacogdoches, Texas; brother-in-law, Michael Vawter and wife Ann of Celina, Texas. Leslie Pernell and Amy Green as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him. The family would like to give special thanks to the EMTs, police dispatch, hospital staff, nurses, doctors, and everyone who helped make Danny's last few days comfortable and being so kind to the family. Danny will be laid to rest in Simpson Campground Cemetery, Woden, TX.
