YORK, Dorothy L. (Aichroth) Lukhard, 75, of West Manchester Township, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Doreen C. and Frank Blake, Spring Grove RD 4. She was the wife of William L. Lukhard, who died Dec. 23, 1983.
The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of the Open Door, Shiloh. Burial will be in St. Paul's (Wolf's) Church Cemetery, York RD 28. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. The Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lukhard was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Schneck) Aichroth.
She was a member of the Church of the Open Door, Shiloh, and was active in its mission program.
Mrs. Lukhard also is survived by a son, Kenneth W. Lukhard of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; two sisters, Margaret Kuhn of Feasterville, Bucks County, and Eleanor O'Dendahl of Havertown, Montgomery County.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. William J. Hampton, the Rev. Dr. Richard E. Smitley, Ridgefield, Wash., and her son, Kenneth W. Lukhard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Fund of the Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Court, York 17404. 05-09-95
