Mary E., daughter of G. W. and Martha Seaton, was born Aug. 8, 1860, in Davis county, Indiana. She came to Missouri with her parents in 1869, and to Taney county in 1877. On the 11th day of October, 1879, she was married to John F. Keithley. In 1894 the family came to Forsyth, where she resided until her death on December 11, 1902.
Nine children were born into this family, of whom six survive, with their father, the aged mother, who resides in this county, one sister and two brothers, J. H. Seaton, who resides in this county, and W. E. who is now in Kansas City, to mourn her loss.
