Fielding, Charles Thomas - 73, 370 Robie St, Truro, died Monday in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late John J and Etta (Grero) Fielding. He worked with the Town of Truro for several years and was a night watchman at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. He is survived by his wife, the former Violet Tulk, four daughters, Laurenia (Mrs Mac MacKenzie), Victorina, BC; Linda Eileen, Ottawa; Carol (Mrs Joseph MacMillan), Lower Sackville; Shirley (Mrs Donald Clark), Truro; a son, David, Vancouver, four sisters, Mrs Lillian Gillian, Hamilton, Ont; Mrs Eileen Richards, Truro; Mrs Hazel Munt, Stoney Creek, Ont; Audrey Russell, New Glasgow; a brother, Jack, Truro, 11 grandchildren, a great-grand daughter. He was predeceased by a brother, Alfred; two sisters, Elizabeth, Elsie, a grand son. The body will be cremated. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro. Rev Whitney Dalrymple officiating. Burial will be later in Castlereagh, Colchester County. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or First United Church, Truro.
