Carole Lavonne Dean, 88, a long-time resident of Hominy, OK and currently of Cleveland, Ok, passed from this life on February 12, 2022 at Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa, Ok. Carole was born July 16, 1933 in Hominy, Ok, the daughter of Vilious and Blanche (Redeker) Peters. She was a 1951 graduate of Hominy High School.
On February 27, 1954 she was united in marriage to James (Jimmy) Roy Dean. To this union, eight children were born. Jimmy and Carole made Hominy home to raise their children. Carole became a devoted homemaker and proud mother who cherished her times with her children and grandchildren.
Carole was a long-time servant of the Jehovah's Witnesses, disciplined in her bible studies, service work, and witnessing to others. She was a beautiful, kind, and loving soul to those who she became acquainted and received great joy in helping others as so many had done for her. She lived a very simple but enriched life through her family, friendships, and commitment to her faith.
Carole was preceded in death by her husband in 1973, her beloved daughter Sherri Lynn (Heck) of Joplin, Mo., her parents, and brother Glenn Peters of Hominy, Ok.
