Youngest daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth Boswell Pennington. Married Abraham B Brown 25 December 1870 at her parent's home. Father gave them land and they lived there for the rest of their lives.
In 1906 only one child, Abraham Jr was still living at home. He and a friend had gone fishing, and when he returned home, found his mother dying from a heart attack. She was buried the next day in the Union cemetery. Services performed by Rev. JW Durham.
