Ernestine Marie Augustine, 88, Munjor, died Saturday, February 12, 2022, at HaysMed. She was born July 13, 1933, in Stockton, the daughter of Ernest and Hilda (Roelf) Lamkin.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, William David "Bill" Philip III and Alfred "Fritz" Augustine.

She graduated from Stockton High School then earned her Cosmetology License. Ernestine was a homemaker who cared for her family with a well kept home and family meals. She enjoyed crafting and collecting Beanie Babies with her daughter Angela.

Survivors include two sons: Doug Philip and wife Gail of Olathe and Bob Philip and wife Bonnie of Munjor, a daughter: Patty Werth and husband Kevin of Hays, six grandchildren: Stephen, Robert, Thomas, and Danny Philip, and Bill and Jeremy Werth, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Bill and Fritz, daughter Angela Augustine, grandson Michael Werth, and a great grandson Colton Lane.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Delbert Stanton officiating. Inurnment will follow in Stockton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains.
