Clarence David "Dave" Corson, Jr., a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. He was 92. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 located at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-2 pm.

Mr. Corson was born on May 4th, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there the early years of his life. He joined the Marines when he was sixteen years old and served in World War II and later served in the US Army. Mr. Corson went to helicopter and fixed wing Flight School and achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CW3). He retired in 1966 after 24 years of military service and resided in Ozark, AL. He went on to work with Civil Service as a helicopter flight instructor, Operations Manager and Flight Commander, teaching new military pilots at Fort Rucker, AL. Mr. Corson was also a business man, loved the outdoors and operated a Garden Nursery in Ozark. He retired and moved to Panama City, Florida before relocating to Dothan in 2011
