On May 27, 1932, the world welcomed Beatrice E. "Beasby" Keown, along with her twin sister Betty, in the small town of Sheldon, IL to Hazel Fariss and Thurman Keown.

She grew up in Goodland, IN, graduated from Goodland High School, and later joined the US Army. Beatrice met and married Major Morgan. They had four children and later divorced.

Beatrice then met the love of her life, Gerald Dean Bulington, and they were married on September 15, 1973. Together they had a son, David Dean Bulington.

Bea enjoyed being a mom and a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a life member of the VFW – Women's Auxiliary and also a past member of the Eagles.

She was very active until diabetes took away her capability to walk. However, her hands created many beautiful crocheted items, some of which were donated to the Senior Citizens and Veterans.

Beatrice also enjoyed painting, coloring and didn't find a crossword she couldn't solve. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and flower gardening. Beatrice loved country music and would never pass up an opportunity to talk to her family about their heritage.

Beatrice and Dean enjoyed their morning chats over coffee, a special time they shared, discussing their family, and the world in general.

However, as it is in life, our Lord chose to wrap his arms around Bea and taker her home on February 9, 2022.

There, she joined her parents; sister, Betty Hall; brother, Norman Fariss; son, David Dean Bulington; daughter, Deborah Carter; son-in-law, Charles Carter Sr; and great-granddaughter, Rylie Morgan.

Her earthly survivors include three children; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law.

A private family service will be held at a later date at Davidson Funeral Home, with burial in Bedford Cemetery in Monon, IN.
