CYNTHIA DEE MAYFIELD, 72, of Prophetstown, IL, died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at MercyOne in Clinton, IA.

Cremation rites have been accorded; there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Dominion Christian Fellowship Church in Lyndon, IL, with Rev. Barbi E. E. Momolu, Sr. officiating. The Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial has been established.

Cindy was born October 14, 1949, in Morrison, IL, to Paul B. Wilkins and Beverly (Bielema) Summers. She was raised by Beverly and Eugene M. "Mick" Summers. Cindy attended Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School. She worked in the printing business for many years, working for Shawver Press and the Prophetstown Echo. She was a former member of the Advent Christian Church in Prophetstown, and had been attending Dominion Christian Fellowship Church in Lyndon, IL. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Above all, her faith and work for the church was most important.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa (Jeff) Bielema of Prophetstown and Megan Borden of Rock Falls, IL; eight grandchildren, Stephen (Alaina) Guidry, Sebastian Guidry, Michael Valdivia, Caleb Borden, Ashton Borden, Sydney Bielema, Eligh Borden, Lily Sharp; two great-grandchildren, Taevyn and Tyrin Guidry; one brother, Eugene M. Summers, Jr. of Prophetstown.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steve Wilkins.
