Terry VanNostrand, age 73, currently of Marshall, Minnesota, and formerly of Harrisonville, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall, Minnesota. Private Burial will take place at a later date in the Oakland Cemetery in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Terry Leigh Sutton was born June 13, 1948, in Harrisonville, Missouri, to parents Clyde and Betty (Crisp) Sutton. She was raised in the Harrisonville area and attended the schools. Terry worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Medicine Aide at many nursing homes during her career. She started at the Stockton Nursing Home in Missouri. On July 19, 1966, Terry was united in marriage to Freddie Lee Stacy in Harrisonville. Together, they had one daughter, Lisa.

On May 24, 1972, Terry was united in marriage to Allen Franklin Brown in Miami, Oklahoma, and to this union, 5 children were born: Lonnie, Aaron, Todd, Eric, and Heather. The family made their home in Stockton, Missouri. Allen preceded her in death. On December 18, 1981, she was united in marriage to Howard Lee VanNostrand, Jr. in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple welcomed two children, Jason and Monica. The family moved to the Nebraska area and made their home primarily in the Red Cloud area. Terry began working as a CNA and Med Aide at the Blue Care Center in Blue Hill, Nebraska, and later worked at the Heritage of Red Cloud in Red Cloud, Nebraska. Family was very important to Terry. She loved her kids and grandchildren. When she wasn't working as a CNA, Terry would often babysit her grandchildren and other kids. She was also very crafty and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Terry Leigh VanNostrand died on February 10, 2022, at the age of 73 years, 7 months, and 28 days. Blessed be her memory.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Franklin Brown; grandchild, Caleb James "C.J." Grooms; parents, Clyde and Betty Sutton; and a brother, William "Gene" Sutton.
