Mrs. Wes Fugitt, near Union City, died Friday night of dropsy. She was laid to rest in the Wright cemetery Saturday afternoon. Rev. Moore conducted the funeral services. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved ones.

OBITUARY
Aunt Lottie Fugitt died at her home 1 1/2 miles south of Union City, Aug. 2, 1918, after an illness of eight months.
She was born in Alabama in 1850, was married to Wesley Fugitt in 1870. She is survived by a husband, six children, two brothers, one sister and a host of other relatives and friends.
Aunt Lottie was the mother of 12 children, six of whom have passed on to the Great Beyond. The living are Richard Fugitt, Mrs. Mollie White, Mrs. Pearl Roy, Mrs. Belle Wilson of School, Mo. and Newt Fugitt of Wagoner, Oklahoma.
Aunt Lottie had been a member of the Christian church for more than 25 years, and was ready to go to the home prepared for the faithful. She told her loved ones not to grieve after her. She was a faithful wife, a devoted mother, and a loving friend.
Aunt Lottie was laid to rest in the White cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Moore of Republic.
