Edith Gayline (Butler) Adair was born on October 12, 1947, in Caddo, Oklahoma to Loni and Lota (Roy) Butler. Gayline passed away on February 9, 2022, at her home at the age of 74.

Gayline graduated from Caddo Public School and later married Jerry Adair Sr. on September 5, 1969, and to this union were born 3 children.

Gayline worked at the Caddo Nursing Home and Caddo Day Care and retired from Durant Public Schools. Gayline had a special gift of helping and caring for others which showed in her working career. In her free time, she enjoyed going to yard sales, taking pictures, and she loved to be around children.

Gayline is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Lonzo and Charley Butler.

Gayline is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry Adair Sr.; sons Jerry Don Adair Jr. and wife Cindy and Quinton Dan Adair and wife Kim; daughter Wanda Jensen; grandchildren Sara Adair, Brandon McAnally and wife Blanca, Billy Heil, Chris Heil and wife Samantha, Christian Powell, Angelica Glacoma, Tanner Barnes and Tucker Barnes; great grandchildren Braden, Jayden, Viviana, Olivia, Lucas, Felicity, Erik, Cleo and Arya; sister Pauline Henry; brother Richard Butler and numerous extended family and dear friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo. Mack Chamber will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownfuneralservice.com.
