Born Dec. 20, 1907, in Jefferson, she was a daughter of the late C. Silas and Nora E. Purcell Thomas.
Miss Thomas was a former resident of Fairview Avenue, Frederick.
She was a member of Jefferson Reformed United Church of Christ, and was employed as a secretary at Mutual Insurance Co. of Frederick County for many years, until her retirement in 1972.
Miss Thomas is survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting or calling at the funeral home.
Funeral services and interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, will be at the convenience of the family.
