Franklin News-Herald, Thursday, Feb 18 1943:
Mrs. Anna Buck, widow of Charles Buck, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh Polk, 520 South High Street, Columbus, OH, at 4 am today. Formerly of Franklin, she went to live with her daughter 4 months ago.

Besides Mrs. Polk, she leaves two sons, LeRoy Ackley and Ralph Buck of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. George Mihleder, Bleakley Hill, and Mrs. Margaret Green, Clintonville; and two brothers, William Scott of Yale, OK, and Joseph Scott, Franklin.

The body will be brought to Buchanan Funeral Home tomorrow.

Services for Mrs. Anna Buck, formerly of Franklin, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh Polk of Columbus, OH, were at Buchanan Funeral Home Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Charles E. Servey, pastor of First Evangelical Church, officiating. Interment was in Franklin Cemetery with pallbearers, Frank Harvey, A. H. Ross, John Fry, Harold Seaton, William E. Clark, and Ralph Shuffstall, all members of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
