He was always working, he helped many people and never charged enough or nothing. He worked as a mechanic in Lehi and then in the Navy CBs in WWII. After the war, and to the credit of America, he stayed in Japan rebuilding bridges and roads. He had his own shop in Lehi for a while then moved on to work for Western Machinery in Salt Lake. He worked for General Service until he went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad. In no time he became the equipment Supervisor managing all machinery except trains from Salt Lake to Los Angeles until he retired to work in his garage.
Viewing will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, Midvale, UT, Monday, Feb. 7 from 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held at East Midvale Stake Center Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 11 A.M., with viewing one hour before service. Burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
We want to give special thanks to the VA care team, or as dad would say, "the pill roller, head shrinker and shower lady."
