Surviving are his wife, Mary; four daughters and their husbands, Mary and Allen Walsh, Ann and Michael Kodack, Eileen and Daniel Rose and Helen and Joseph Bueti; three sons and their wives, Gerard and Patti Funck, James and Christine Funck and John and Sue Funck; a brother, Edward Fern; a sister, Helen Brown; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict's Church, Holmdel. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
