William Hill of Hills station, Washington county, died yesterday morning at the advanced age of 100 years, 2 months and 22 days. His death was a result of a fall received a few weeks ago. On November 14 last, Mr. Hill celebrated his 100th birthday. There were about 175 guests present at the celebration. Mr. Hill ate his dinner in the house in which he was born. Mr. Hill was married twice. His first wife, Miss Margaret Fife, bore him two sons, Thomas and James Hill. His second wife was Miss Mary McGowan, from which union he has one son and a daughter, John Hill and Mrs. Margaret Ann Simpson. His second wife is still living. Mr. Hill has been for the last 50 years an elder in the Center Presbyterian Church near Hills station. The funeral services will take place Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 12 o'clock.
(His second wife's maiden name was also spelled as McKown)
