Harrold E. Spenn, 78 passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was born May 26, 1943 in Fort Wayne and attended St. Mark's Lutheran Grade School on Thiele Road, Ossian High School, and International Business College.

Harrold was a life time farmer, and also worked at International Harvester, Burlington Express, and Tokheim. He loved music and was the choir director of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Thiele Road, Fort Wayne for 35 years. He later directed the Men's Chorus at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Soest) on Wayne Trace. He was a past board member of Tokheim Credit Union, a past board member of the Mid-State Farmers Mutual Insurance Co., and a past member of the Pleasant Twp board.

He sang for more than 40 weddings in the Fort Wayne area, sang nine years in the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chorus, and sang ten years in the Concordia Lutheran Seminary LCMS Schola Cantorum. He enjoyed singing and playing his violin for church services and weddings, wood working, including building grandfather clocks for his sons and family, and built stained glass art for friends and family, including panels of the Sacraments for Christ Lutheran Church in Siloam Springs, AR.

He is survived by his wife Linda Lyon (Albertson); three sons, a step-son, one grandson and three granddaughters.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents Arthur William Carl and Mabel Pauline (Sheets) Spenn; and step-daughter, Michella Albertson and his first wife Dorothea Elaine Decker.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church (Soest), 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816 with visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Visitation for Harrold will also be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church (Soest), 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816. Burial will be at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
