Mrs. Faye "Frances" Hensley Wilson Yow, 86, of Kannapolis, NC, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Best of Care in Kannapolis.
Frances was born on September 9, 1935, in Concord to the late Mary Goodman Hogan and the late Wayne Hensley.
She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis E. Wilson; second husband, Marvin H. Yow; sisters, Louise Hogan Smith, Shirley Cantrell; brothers, Richard Canupp, John Hensley.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Renee Phillips, and husband, Jim; son, Lewis Eric "Rick" Wilson; stepdaughter, Linda Darnell McBride; stepson, Eugene Yow; brothers, Pete Hogan, Dwayne Hensley; grandchildren, Kristine Harrington, Lewis "Eric" Wilson, Jr., Tiffany Wilson Steele, Joshua Elex Wilson, Kayla Noel Conforth, Pete Altman III, Chad Phillips; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Brian Rabon and Rev. Rick Wilson, with a burial to follow at West Concord Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service. Frances will lie in state at Wilkinson Funeral Home on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 2-5 PM.
