Mary (Baca) Lucero, 95, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. She was born July 22, 1926 in Chimayo, New Mexico, the daughter of Delfinia (Lopez) and Cicilio Baca.
She and Carlos Lucero, Jr, were married on November 26, 1949.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carlos Lucero Jr; her daughter, Charlene Lucero; her son, Charles M. Lucero; and her parents, Delfinia (Lopez) and Cicilio Baca; her brothers, Crestino, Eligio, Juan, Miguel, Ursulo, Celso, and Eliseo Baca.
Mary is survived by her brother, Rosendo Baca (wife Josie; grandsons: Charles Lucero (Shanie) and Chris Lucero; granddaughter, Carmella Lucero; great-grandchildren: Carley, Samuel and Chloe Lucero and Deztiny, Iziah Jazmyn and Joziah Marquez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
Pallbearers included: Leroy, Martin and Samuel Lucero, Manuel Tafoya, Chris and James Romero.
