Juan P. Arpon died peacefully in his home on Sunday, September 20th, 2015 at the age of 94. Juan was born July 14, 1921 to Mateo and Cristina Arpon in Barugo, Leyte, Philippines. He is survived by his sisters Salvacion and Adoracion.
Mr. Arpon earned his Master's in Education. He worked as a teacher and principal in elementary and high schools in the Philippines. In later years, he was a school district supervisor.
In 1988, he moved to the U.S.
He married Anastacia Arpon in 1947.
He is survived by his son Reynaldo (wife Fe), his daughter Noida (husband Canuto), and son Herminio (wife Cora); his grandchildren: Carlo, Kathleen Ann (husband Jung), Kevin, Stacy Mae (husband J.C.), Mark "Angel", Aaron, Dustin and John "Jon-Jon"; and great-grandson, Julian Pierre.
Family and friends will meet directly at church on Friday morning.
